Maxim Cover Girl models, stay sharp—another scammer is on the loose. This time, they’ve been spotted on Facebook, preying on contestants with big promises and even bigger lies.
🔴 The Scam Playbook:
- They claim to be professional marketers or promoters
- They offer a 100% money-back guarantee (🚩🚩🚩)
- They swear their votes are “legit” and “safe” (they’re not)
- They pressure you for payment upfront—and then vanish
Reality check: No one can buy you a win. These scammers are after your money, and if you get involved, you risk disqualification and potential account security issues.
Social media is an incredible tool to connect with your fans and promote your career—but it’s also a hunting ground for fraudsters. Be aware. Be smart. And never pay to play.
Our team is already working with Facebook to shut this account down, but if you see suspicious activity, report it immediately.
Here’s the latest account reported by a fellow model in this year’s competition—stay vigilant and don’t get caught in the trap.

Please work together with us to make this Maxim Cover Girl competition space safe and fun. Block and report any of these accounts that may try to contact you. If we all come together and report these accounts, the social media platforms will be able to flag them as spam before they ever hit anyone’s inbox. As always, if you ever have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us via DM on our official Cover Girl Instagram at @maximmag_covergirl or at our competition support email: support@maxim.vote.
XOXO,
